MINI Space Design Competition #4: Winners Announced! April 08, 2009

Our fourth competition was our most successful yet, with more users than ever participating and uploading backgrounds every day. Designs came pouring in up to the last minute, and there were so many, we wish we could have kept the contest Always Open.

We are now proud to announce both the Jury and popular vote winners of the Always Open Design competition.

First Prize awarded by the MINI Design Team jury

I'm beggining to think this whole competition is a waste of people's efforts and time. WHY? if i remember right minimalism had a rule, about using the mini cars giving as the basis for the design. The third design in the winners had nothing in the design that relates to the basis giving to be used before your design can be accepted into the competition. Is this for real??? I think it's a joke, anyone agree?

I'm ok with the Jury. They choose the one that looks more "OPEN". remember, there is a campaign that needs to say something. Even though there was great design but again it needs to convey ALWAYS OPEN. and the ones that won, does has that. CONGRATS to all and see on the next competition. :)
