On May 16, 2009 the MINI Space team donned ball gowns and pirates outfits and went out to report from the blue carpet of the Life Ball in Vienna. In keeping with this year's "water" theme for the LIfe Ball, the long carpet that took costumed partygoers up the main square to the opening ceremony was glittering stretch of blue rather then red carpet. We were dazzled by the creative and cool array of costumes that came up the carpet and of course the finale, the Life Ball MINI which contained fashion legend Patricia Field and design duo The Blonds. Overall, our biggest impression was the amount of people that came out in full regalia to support the cause of Life Ball, the fight again AIDS/HIV world-wide and the celebration of life.
