ALL THE WRONG PLACES: South Africa Co-Pilot Announced! Wanted: Legend Chaser in Peru
MINI, VICE and our host Elliott Bambrough are about to chase down some truly wild and crazy legends. This is your chance to ride with us. Become an adventure legend yourself in ALL THE WRONG PLACES: Peru.
So what’s the stuff of which our dream Co-Pilot is made? Steel would be good — Peru is not for the faint of heart. And with the kind of adventure we’re going on, we’ll need a Co-Pilot with a natural sense of rhythm. The jungle drums should get your heart racing. Most importantly, we want someone who doesn’t care what’s written on a map, because ALL THE WRONG PLACES are more appealing to you than a safe bet could ever be.
You might be thinking: What am I getting myself into?! Just ask the winning Co-Pilot of ALL THE WRONG PLACES Mission 2: South Africa. Krishna Andavolu is off with MINI, VICE and the new MINI Coupé to shoot the adventure of a lifetime. Look for the video, coming soon.
Here's a taste of the skills that Krishna brings to our South Africa Mission:
"A Costa Rican volcano once spewed molten rock at my tiny single prop airplane. I prevented 2 giant Alaskan fisherman from killing each other over a dog and rescued one from the icy waters. I have eaten (and reverse-eaten?) food from Calcutta's finest dining establishments. I took my 50cc moped for a spin on France's A8 (a MINI would have been far nicer). Never had bunny chow, but I want to try it. Most importantly, I know that the easiest way to communicate with people in foreign countries is by making them laugh."
A writer for and managing editor of online obituary magazine Obit, Krishna is also a music-loving, traveling gourmet. And some days he simply cannot get full. "I am still hungry, and I just ate," he often remarks. But unlike a bird of prey or some carnivorous plant, he finds his food-based compulsions usually push him towards the stories and unwise adventures that food so often tells.
Like what you see? Tell us why you’re ready for greatness. Be our Co-Pilot for ALL THE WRONG PLACES Mission 3: Peru. Apply now!
