Design Competition 7 - Winners Announced! January 13, 2010

In our 7th design competition we asked you to create an image that said "The Big 50". We saw a lot of digital birthday cakes, a bunch of balloons, and enough rendered candles to light up a room! Thanks everyone for all your great and very festive designs.

We are now proud to announce both the Jury and popular vote winners of The Big 50 design competition.

First Prize awarded by the MINI Design Team jury

its weird sometimes, some of the winning designs shouldnt even be winners,. Cant understand the Jury. There are lots of better works that bear quality and creativity. Well, what more can i say..A lot of people found this weird thing too

Yo creo que los ganadores estan bien elegidos, hay varias personas que han criticado que los primeros dos lugares estan mal y esas mismas personas tienes diseños que no se adecuan de ninguna forma a la pagina, yo opino que el segundo lugar esta bien, se adapta bien a la pagina, siempre queda visible los "50 years", ademas es un buen diseño, una señaletica (la cual tiene relacion con los autos, en este caso un mini). Y el primer lugar tiene relacion notoriamente con la historia de mini.

Para mi gusto los diseños ganadores estan muy bien.

Bueno, yo tampoco estoy deacuerdo con la eleccion del 1er y 2do puesto;
ya que se pedia una imagen que cumpla como fondo adaptandose a la web,
cosa que si logra el 3 er puesto y otros diseños enviados.

Espero que rectifiquen o mencionen el porque eligieron estoso diseños
que no cumplen con lo mencionado en las reglas.
