MINI Space at the Biennale Architecture September 08, 2008

If you want the world's best in Creative Use of Space, look no further than the 11th International Architecture Biennale in Venice, the Crème de la Crème of all architecture exhibitions.

As if Venice was not mind boggling enough, with its labyrinth of canals, sinking villas and hoards of photo-snapping tourists, the Biennale presents the best in architecture and urban design on a grand scale. This year's theme is "Out there - Architecture Beyond Building" and MINI Space is there to discover more. Over the next 10 days, we will bring you a behind the scenes look at the movers and shakers of 2008. So hail your virtual gondola and come along for the ride.

Creativity in architecture exists as a consequence of our being, and that being is both silent and very active in our hearts; to make it an endeavor is both a instinctual labor of thought and our physical being. This space that occupies our hearts and minds should not be consumed by preexisting styles and commerce.

L’elemento comune che si riscontra nei progetti architettonici Creativi è la dinamica costante di trasformarsi, di crescere, di disgregarsi e di evolvere con modalità differenti l'approccio con la massa statica che ci circonda... per questo ritengo giusto dire che l'architettura creativa è un modo di mescolare il nostro passato e creare un nuovo futuro, limpido, organizzato ed essenziale grazie alle idee creative e alle nuove tecnologie sia per quanto riguarda i materiali sia per i consumi energetici. L'assieme di queste ne vale del nostro futuro architettonico....... creatività=dinamica

Architecture articulates regional and cultural traditions as they morph through time. Experiencing creative architecture enables our minds to develop unique memories and inspirations that are connected in time and space, as well as reminding us that we mortals are capable of designing and executing extraordinary, sometimes immortal, ideas. Most mind blowingly architecture encourages us to contemplate the interior and exterior of the self--individual and collective.

Architecture should be creative and innovative with a future forward vision that moves parallel with our changing world. Creative means beautiful and who doesn't want to roam the streets of a beautiful world?

architecture should be creative, because the space that an object occupies, is just as important as the space in between. and creativity gives birth to more creativity.

as humans, we are products of our environment. therefore to be surrounded not only by the beauty of nature (the spaces in between), but also it's compliment, architecture (the space occupied), we then allow ourselves to reach our creative potential.

to see the beauty in everything, is what makes us human. if architecture were dull, boring or dingy, the soul of the human would be the reflection of that. To be creative is to be human. to kill that creativity, or to not change or constantly adapt it to find that perfection, is to kill the collective consciousness of mankind.

Architecture is life; it shows what people want - beauty and stability, and the ability to withstand some heavy weather!

Architecture is one of the many masses that create reactions susceptible to all of our senses. Despite its prominence, it’s easy to become disillusioned by architecture, simply because, literally, it exists everywhere. As a result, architecture necessitates creativity. Buildings should be perceived as more than a requirement of shelter and instead, as an artistic, imaginative universe exciting all physical and emotional sensory.
