The Knux: On Tour with the MINI Countryman
Chances are, if you haven’t yet heard of L.A. based hip-hop duo The Knux, you will soon. Four years on from their debut album release, brothers Krispy and Joey have been honing their own unique breed of West-coast cool, and this year it’s set to pay off. With a song on the hit HBO series “Entourage”, invitations from all the coolest music festivals, and collaborations with the likes of Kid Cudi and Natalia Kills, this duo’s star is on the rise. And how better to celebrate than with a good old-fashioned MINI road-trip?
Over the last month, the Knux have been touring the West Coast, cruising from Washington to New Mexico in two souped-up MINI Countrymen. But they weren’t the only ones in on the road-trip fun. Before every gig, Krispy and Joey invited some lucky fans to hop in for the ride! Fans got to write in for a chance on the Knux’ Facebook wall, and the chosen few were then collected from their own doorsteps by the duo themselves, and personally chauffeured to the gig. Cruising in a MINI with your favourite band? Now that’s the way to start a night out in style.
