INTERACTIVE: Amazing Crayon Physics

Imagine crayon drawings that come to life and react to the force of gravity as if they existed in real space. Throw in a little mini-golf-like competition, and you're on your way to a brilliant addiction called Crayon Physics.

Computer wiz Petri Purho has created a game that manages to be both old school and completely 21st century at the same time.

Check out this YouTube video of the game in action, and prepare to be amazed.

We have two copies of Crayon Physics to give away for the two MINI Space users who tip us off to the coolest new trend.  Drop a comment below with your idea and if we like it we'll include it in an upcoming trend report. We will also award you your very own copy of Crayon Physics...just don't come crying to us when you can't stop playing with it.

MUSIC: The Whitest Boy Alive

Rules, the new album from The Whitest Boy Alive, is out at the end of March.

Lead singer Erlend Øye does so many things at once (like being one half of the band Kings of Convenience, for example), we can hardly keep track, but this is one of our favorites.

Listen to some tracks on the band's MySpace page and buy the album on iTunes or in stores on March 30.

FOOD: Chocolate Bunnies Bite Back

With Easter just around the corner what better time to indulge in a little luxury chocolate or send some to a friend who is far away.

These rabbits are almost too adorable to eat, but pretty soon you'll find yourself debating which ear to start chewing on first. Watch out though: they also carry a kick, with flavors like The Red Fire Easter Bunny ($12.00), which contains ingredients like chipotle chilies.

FASHION: Hand-Crafted, One of a Kind, Designer Shoes From Budapest

Now that mass-produced has become normal and expected, it's nice to know that there are a few people left carrying on the tradition of personal, homegrown, custom-made clothing. One of them is our recent Portfolio of the Week, shoe designer Anna Zaboeva, who offers a limited number of her colorful and original creations to shoe-lovers everywhere.

ANIMAL OF THE WEEK: Miniature Guide Horse

In each edition of the Trend Report, we will end by electing our favorite Animal/Vegetable/Mineral of the Week.

Dogs have been used as guides for the blind for as long as we can remember, but what about man's other best friend? The Guide Horse Foundation trains miniature horses to be perfect companions to the blind and disabled. These little guys get to help their owners navigate around the seeing world and on top of that, they get to wear sneakers. Congratulations, mini guide horse, you're MINI Team approved.

cool trend: FREE LOVE is a really cool trend (analyzed and shared by trendwatching.com) ... one of the most interesting manifestations of this trend is "swaping not spending", where marketplaces enable consumers to avoid money (and hateful banks!) . Couchsurfing, FON, SwapMyWheels, or Craiglist are good examples of this amazing phenomena. :)

want a cool trend? there's an all-girl motoring club call "The MINI Skirts" (http://www.theminiskirts.com) that's building an application which will allow women from all over the world to participate in an annual one day event (much like a jog-a-thon) where participants use their commute in their MINI to raise money to help cure breast cancer (http://www.komen.org). could be very very cool.
