Toronto wants to be FriendsWithYou June 04, 2010

FriendsWithYou artists Samuel Borkson and Arturo Sandoval III have been commissioned by the Luminato Festival of the Arts to bring their brand of big-time happy to the Queen City. From the 10th to the 20th of June, the Miami-based collective is set to shower Toronto with "magic, color and love..." The event jumps off with the Daydreamers solo show and will culminate with their "Rainbow City" installation in Queen's Public Park. The Rainbow City installation sounds like it should come with some sunglasses and a backpack full of lollipops. If you're anywhere near the place, you'll probably find yourself having a good time.
