Steven Alan runs a fabulous Tribeca showroom (as well as several retail outlets) full of up-and-coming labels, as well as his own signature reverse-seam shirts. Known as the go-to dresser for Manhattan's downtown elite for over 10 years, Alan recently launched a new line, Lark and Wolff, for Urban Outfitters. Joining him are the fashion art collective United Bamboo (picture: left Thuy Pham; right Miho Aoki) and designer of the moment Rachel Comey. After a seven-year hiatus, the legendary dance promoters behind Paris's wildly successful Respect parties have made a triumphant return to clubland with Été D'Amour, an au courant dance music party making waves in both New York and Paris. For our Lounge, the Respect crew has channeled their significant talent-booking prowess into bringing visionary dance music DJ, producer, and Output Recordings label head Trevor Jackson and French House music pioneers Château Flight stateside.  Jackson, also of British dance act Playgroup, was instrumental in launching the careers of luminaries such as LCD Soundsystem, the Rapture, Fridge, and Four Tet. Château Flight, who rarely bring their jazzy and experimental sounds to the US, are renowned for mixing up diverse beats, from dub to post-rock to Afro-funk. Expect a great party - none other than Daft Punk played the Respect crew's inaugural throw-down in 1996.  Sorry, this Event is booked out
