Want to see your designs worn around town and support a good cause at the same time? Design a T-Shirt. Submit it on MINI Space. Win. Raise money for LIFE BALL.

The 2009 LIFE BALL, Europe’s biggest and most spectacular AIDS benefit of the year held in Vienna, is kicking off next week. And since we are such big fans of this awesome gala we were inspired to launch our newest design competition at the same time. Introducing our first ever MINI Space T-Shirt Design Competition. The winning design will be printed on 2000 limited edition T-Shirts to be sold on the MINI online store with 5 EUR from each sale going to benefit the LIFE BALL.

Juried Prize (Jury consists of LIFE BALL Organizer Gery Keszler and the MINI Space Team). Apple aluminum 13-inch Mac Book 2.0Ghz AND Your design on 2000 limited edition T-Shirts, to be sold on the MINI online store. The signature of the winning artist (ie: his or her MINI Space user name) will be written on each shirt’s label. Creative Briefing

Create a T-Shirt design that promotes the LIFE BALL in an artistic, clever, and creative way. We are looking for an image that is eye-catching and illuminating, one that will get people’s attention and convey the ideas and values that are central to the LIFE BALL. The LIFE BALL is an annual event that takes place in Vienna, Austria. It aims to raise awareness of HIV/AIDS while celebrating life. The 17th Annual LIFE BALL will take place on the 16th of May. It will be the start of a four-year cycle called the Elements of LIFE BALL, in which each of the four elements will stand for the central symbols of life: earth, water, wind, and fire. This year the theme is water and the motto is “Let Love Flow.” Go here to read more about LIFE BALL 2009 and get inspired for the competition. For this special competition your designs do not have to work as a background for MINI Space. Integrate both the idea of LIFE BALL and the issue of AIDS awareness into one positive and inspiring image. To start participating please follow the steps on the submission page that includes the download of the T-Shirt outline template. Winners should be able to print their designs in high quality.

To sum up:

-	Create a design for the MINI T-Shirt Contest by reimagining the ideas behind LIFE BALL: AIDS awareness and the celebration of life.
-	The design can be made out of any type of still media (photographic, illustration, graphic, etc.) as long as you have the rights to all design elements that you use. Unaltered photographs will not be accepted as final designs.
-	Carefully follow all instructions on the submission page and use only the T-Shirt template we provide as the basis of your design.
-	Please DO NOT include MINI logos.
