Hi Axel, I just read your blog about the MINI Takes the States. I don't think we met, but we may have passed each other along the way. I only made the first leg of the trip, from Northern New Jersey to Washington, D.C.
Like yourself, I thought the brief journey I made was remarkable. The connection that is made to other people through owning a MINI is pretty amazing.
 
Thanks for the blog post, it was a great read, and hope to see you in 2014!
