Hmm hate this part. Ok I'm 36, new to design but loving it. Been working in Health & Safety until recently, illness forcing me out of work, so I decided to do something to break the monotony and took up Photoshop. I've just started drawing and painting and I'm starting evening classes at the local Art school shortly to develop technique and style.

I must admit, I'm rather suspicious of how a piece that has only been in the competition for 2 weeks has overtaken everyone into first place, when the other pieces in second and third have been there for ages. I never expected to win, not in a million years, as I'm just starting out in art and design, so it is not for my own benefit I say this but I feel the system is being taken advantage of by many people, who's designs are just average. I have seen some absolutely brilliant and highly professional designs sink away down, and at the top seems to be some designs that my daughter could do. Makes you wonder.
