Chi sono

Adelle Victoria is a Filipina fine art photographer and a performing artist. Because she was involved in theatre early in life, her photographic works have the influence of drama and a faint presence of an empty theatre.
  
She thinks of photography as a poetic silver language. 'River Mnemosyne', her first solo fine art photography exhibit, is a birthing of her poetic vision, and a spark for the flourishing of fine art photography in the Philippines. Her depiction of Serbia has recently been chosen by VIPC (Venice, Italy) for an exhibition that focuses on Eastern Europe.
 
Her work centers on the pull of the opposites and the search for balance- -the ever-turning process of the spirit. Her concepts conjure inspirations from theatre, painting, poetry, films, songs, movement, dreams, and memories.
 
She expands herself to other art forms such as theatre, poetry, spoken word, film, dance, and performance art, thus enveloping her Art in a miasma of other stimuli. She is co-owner of VladimirVictoria Studios; a part of BITAW! (being inspired through active wonder), a multi-disciplinary art group that infuses an encouraged era through workshops and multi-platform productions; Romancing Venus, a group of women artists who perform poetry; and Sundial Children, a free-form duo of dancers.
 
She is currently based in Belgrade, working on a collection about spaces and absence.~
